| The Wing Gundam is an advanced mobile suit developed by Doctor J, who is part of a resistance group within the space colonies of Lagrange point 1. The mobile suit's distinctive wings are not only used when it transforms into its "bird mode," but are also used for maneuvering in mobile suit mode, giving the Wing Gundam superb balance. In bird mode, it not only outclasses contemporary fighter planes, but can also be used as a space shuttle thanks to its atmospheric re-entry capabilities. In terms of overall performance, the Wing Gundam is probably the best mobile suit yet created. |

| Buster Rifle: This high-output beam rifle uses energy stored in the energy packs above the grip. Its destructive power rivals that of a battleship's main cannon, but it can only fire three shots. |

Bird Mode: A flight mode for movement and combat in Earth's atmosphere. The buster rifle can be fired in this mode, as well as in mobile suit mode.
Beam Saber: These close combat weapons are normally stored inside the Wing Gundam's shield. They can cut OZ's mass-produced mobile suit, the Leo, clean in half. |
