| The five scientists who made the Gundams are eventually captured by OZ, and put to work developing new mobile suits to surpass their earlier creations. The Vayeate is one of the results, a space mobile suit derived from OZ's Taurus model. Designed for maximum attacking power, it operates in tandem with the defensive mobile suit Mercurius. Its main weapon is a beam cannon, a further refinement of the Wing Gundam's buster rifle, whose destructive power far exceeds that of the Tallgeese's dobergun. |
