Dragon Fangs: The Shenlong Gundam's signature weapon, the extendable claw known as the "dragon fang," is installed in both arms of the Altron Gundam. Though it seems like a crude concept, this long-range melee weapon has proven to be very effective against encircling enemies. The Altron Gundam's name, derived from the Chinese "er-to long" ("two-headed dragon"), is inspired by its pair of dragon fangs. |

Twin Beam Trident:
In place of the previous beam glaive, the Altron Gundam is equipped with a double-ended twin beam trident. This versatile weapon further increases the Gundam's advantage in melee combat. |

Vulcans: Though the vulcans in the Altron Gundam's head do little damage, they can be used to draw the enemy's attention, making for an effective combination with the dragon fangs and twin beam trident. |

| "Gundam Nataku" is
the nickname of the Altron Gundam, an upgraded version of the Shenlong Gundam
that was sent to Earth as part of Operation Meteor. (The name "Nataku" originates
from Chinese mythology.) The Altron Gundam has a "dragon fang" installed in both
arms, instead of just the right one; each of these claws is twice the size of
the original version, and their reach is also much longer. The double-ended beam
trident, which replaces its previous beam glaive, gives the Altron even greater
melee combat capabilities. This improved version of the mighty Nataku also features
stronger armor and higher thruster output. |
