This prototype machine was the first
transformable mobile suit
developed by the
AEUG.
In its
mobile armor
form the Methuss is a capable space fighter, well suited for dogfighting or long-range attack missions. Its vulnerable transformation mechanisms, however, make it too fragile to engage in close combat with enemy
mobile suits.
The Methuss is nonetheless simple to operate and easy to repair, making it a popular choice for the
Argama's
novice pilots.
