In the last days of the
One Year War,
the
Principality of Zeon
developed a new model of
mobile suit
to serve as a successor to the
MS-14 Gelgoog.
However, no sooner was the prototype Galbaldy completed than it was captured by the victorious
Earth Federation Forces,
who made some modifications to the design and then put it into production for their own use. The Galbaldy Beta's
armor
is relatively thin, but as a result it's more maneuverable than the
Hizack,
and it remains in service with Federation Forces garrisons at
Luna II
and the lunar city of
Granada.
