The Kerguelen is a
Zanzibar-class
mobile cruiser, capable of surviving re-entry and flying though Earth's atmosphere. With the addition of a rocket booster, this vessel can also be launched into orbit, providing a potential escape route for
Zeon's
ground forces. However, the Kerguelen is currently being used as a power supply for
Ginias Sahalin's
research base, so he is is unwilling to let it go until the
Apsalus
project is completed.
