An obsolete space cruiser which has been converted into a training ship for
Federation Forces
cadets. The Space Ark is dispatched to Frontier I to collect the prototype
F91 Gundam
for testing purposes, and finds itself trapped there when the
Crossbone Vanguard
lay siege to the
colony.
With all its flight instructors and senior officers gone to fight the Crossbone Vanguard, the Space Ark is now in the hands of a tiny crew of cadets and civilians, whose only concern is escaping the battlefield in one piece.
