This transformable
mobile suit
was one of several prototype designs produced in the early stages of the
Federation Forces'
miniaturized
mobile suit
development program. The discarded machine was restored by the eccentric Roy Jung - who gave it the unofficial designation R-44 to indicate that he obtained it when he was 44 years old - and placed on display in his war museum at Frontier IV. When the Frontier IV
colony
is attacked by the
Crossbone Vanguard,
Seabook
and friends use this antique machine to escape the battlefield.
