The RB-79C is a minor update to the cannon-toting mobile pod used in the last stages of the One Year War. This version is equipped with double sets of grappling arms, enabling it to manipulate larger objects, but is otherwise unchanged from the classic Ball. These cheap fighting machines are deployed during the Federation's last-ditch attempt to stop Operation Stardust.
