This variant of the RGM-79C GM Kai is a customized test unit, created to gather data for development of the Gundam GP01, and consequently has no official model number. With powerful new thrusters in its backpack, and special shock absorbers on its legs, the Powered GM boasts performance far surpassing that of the standard GM. Two of these test machines are assigned to the Federation's Torrington base, both of which are destroyed during the Delaz Fleet's theft of the Gundam GP02A.
