The Rick Dom II is a revised version of the Rick Dom, which served as Zeon's standard space-combat mobile suit in the latter part of the One Year War. Retaining the Rick Dom's thick armor and heavy firepower, the Rick Dom II is equipped with an improved generator and more powerful thrusters, and can be fitted with external propellant tanks to extend its operating range. Though Zeon's production lines are easily adapted to produce this new version, few of them reach the front lines before the end of the war.
