This bizarre
mobile fighter
represents the space colony of Neo Portugal. Despite its whimsical appearance, the Jester Gundam is surprisingly effective in combat, especially since pilot Romario Monini can use his clown's gift for mimicry to duplicate his opponents' fighting techniques. The mobile fighter itself can change into a compact top-shaped form which floats in mid-air; in this Top Mode, the spinning Jester Gundam can produce distracting illusions to confuse its opponents.
