After being damaged in battle, the
Astray Blue Frame
is rebuilt in this improved form. In addition to the new shoulders and feet designed by mercenary pilot Gai Murakumo as part of the planned
Second G
upgrade, the Blue Frame Second L also incorporates contributions from some of Gai's allies. Its cockpit is protected by an inner layer of
Phase Shift Armor
installed by
Morgenroete
engineer
Erica Simmons,
and its damaged head and backpack are replaced with new parts designed by
Red Frame
pilot Lowe Guele. The most distinctive feature of the Second L is the detachable flight unit on its back, known as the Tactical Arms, which can also be converted into a 90mm gatling gun turret or a giant sword.
