An older student at
Kira's
technical college in
Heliopolis,
who is engaged to
Flay Allster
by parental arrangement. Along with Kira's other friends, Sai escapes the destruction of Heliopolis aboard the
Earth Alliance
warship
Archangel.
Unperturbed by the revelation that Kira is a
Coordinator,
Sai volunteers to support his friend by helping out on the ship's bridge, and is assigned to the Archangel's
Combat Information Center
as an electronic warfare specialist.
