A young woman who has been recruited by Chairman Durandal as a substitute for Lacus Clyne, now that the real Lacus has disappeared from public view. Meer believes wholeheartedly in Durandal's ideals, and is more than happy to further his agenda by impersonating her idol Lacus Clyne. She is also quick to attach herself to Athrun, on the grounds that her role as Lacus requires her to be properly attentive to the real Lacus's fiance.
